I have been an avid writer and reader since as early as I can remember. Growing up, I remember trying to write stories in the back seat of the car while we were driving somewhere, and although my dedication was slightly sided during my teenage years, I have since committed time to my passion for writing and recently finished my first ever novel!

My love of writing extends to poetry, short stories, and some stories that start off short but are heading in the direction of novellas, not to mention how many ideas I have drafted up for new novels!

If you would like to use any of my work (I will most likely say yes, just please ask!), or would like to discuss my work with me, please drop me a note using the Contact form.

I hope you enjoy my work!

Two's a Crowd

What started as a short story, but is now taking its own path that looks more like it could be a novella... but as with most of my writing, I'll let it decide what it wants to be. This is a story of two young girls, best friends, and finding their way in the world, which despite what they once thought, might not be the same road for both of them.

MelbGirl Article: What to expect when you're expecting H&M

What to expect when you're expecting H&M? Yes that's right, unless you were like me and somehow resided under a large giant rock of oblivion for the past month and a half, you will already be well aware that the Swedish retail fashion giant H&M, have announced they are continuing their expansion strategy by launching into Australia in 2014.

Together, we are.

Together, we are.

I originally started writing this poem when I was thinking about our wedding and in particular, our vows but it quickly evolved into something that I didn't think was quite right for my vows so I used this in my speech at our wedding reception instead.

This is cute and fun, but from the heart too.

What is Love?

What is Love?

I recently tied the knot and in the lead up to the ceremony and wedding, my partner and I were both in agreement that we would write our own vows. Me being the creative person that I am, decided that the love you feel for someone, the love I feel for him, is best described through poetry.

I wrote this poem as my wedding vows. It means a lot to me and I hope you can feel a little of what I feel by reading it. Our Celebrant was actually really moved by this particular poem that he asked to use it in his ceremonies going forward. If you would like to use it, please ask (I will probably say yes) and make sure you reference me as the author.
