If you haven't heard of Josh Goot before, it's time to get acquainted and what better way to be introduced then perusing some fabulous fashion via the new online store and checking out the Spring/Summer 2013 collection.
Living and working in Sydney, Australian designer Josh Goot released his debut collection in 2005 at Australian Fashion Week and went on to win the Tiffany & Co. Young Designer of the Year Award at L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival.
This was followed with international recognition including a feature on the cover of Women's Wear Daily and his first appearance at New York Fashion Week in 2006, and London Fashion Week in 2008. Receiving numerous accolades and critical acclaim since, Goot opened his first retail store on Glenmore Road, in Paddington, Sydney and is recognised as a prominent Australian fashion label.
Goot's design aesthetic is described as modern and minimal, creating clean urban looks with the highest quality textiles and 100% Australian made.
In a further demonstration of the label's success, the Josh Goot website now features an online store component, and the first available on offer is his famed Autumn/Winter 2013 collection. Pop onto the website to view the range which includes gorgeous gold marbling, minimalist monochrome and trims of black leather. Check it out here!
While not available via the online store, it's also worth taking a peek at the Spring/Summer 2013 collection. Carrying on Goot's signature traits, the collection features fascinating prints, defined lines and beautifully constructed silhouettes. These are some of my favourite looks from the new collection, providing perfect pieces for work, glam or play:
- Clever Jacquard Sleeveless Wrap Dress
- Bandage Wrap One Shoulder Dress
- Simple Leather Biker Jacket and New Corset Flare Skirt
