Converse

Converse

Possibly the most renowned sneaker brand of all time, Converse have been producing shoes since the factory opened in 1908, however its popularity came later in 1917 when first production of the Converse All-Star sneaker began. This was followed by a basketball player by the name of Mr Charles H. "Chuck" Taylor joining the company and eventually lending his name to the sneaker - the name most recognised by the youth of today.

Converse - Women's Black & White All Star Xx Hi

I've been a Converse Chuck Taylor fan for a long time now. I still remember the days of ducktaping up my first pair that were literally falling to bits, but I was so in love with them, not to mention a poor student at the time, that I found it difficult to let go. In fact, on a recent trip to my parents house I found them in a plastic bag in my old wardrobe.

Anyway I digress... this is one for the modern girl, extra high top, so one for the slightly braver fashion stylista out there too.
