Iron Fist - Grin and Bear It Platform

Iron Fist - Grin and Bear It Platform

It's been so long since I featured a shoe on WritinginHeels, it's almost criminal! But here is one so cutesy wutesy that you won't be able to stay mad at me for long.

From the funky-loving brand Iron Fist, this is a fab flashback for those 90s kiddies whose childhood is filled with visions of cuddly pastel-coloured bears.

Iron Fist - Cycloburg Super Plat

Iron Fist - Cycloburg Super Plat

Okay... admittedly there's not too many out there who would rock this to after work drinks or a Saturday night out, but as any shoe fanatic will agree, there's something to be admired with this funky platform pump from Iron First.

While I'm not really a fast food fan, I can't help but find this burger design so entertaining!

Iron Fist – Misfits Oxford Flexi Flat

Every girl needs some good pairs of flats... I know, it sounds almost wrong, particularly coming from a blatant heel addict such as myself, but nonetheless my flat collection is admittedly growing as more fashionable choices become available. And this pair of Iron Fist oxfords is certainly wardrobe worthy, paying homage to The Misfits with the classic Misfit skull print, and wicked neon green lining. Punk rock perfection!

If you had to describe a pair of Iron Fist shoes, there's a number of adjectives that immediately spring to mind... funky, kooky, strange, intriguing, enchanting, crazy, out-there... I could go on and on. The point is, one thing is for sure about this brand, and that is they are distinct. They have their own unique flavour and you can spot an Iron Fist shoe a mile away!

What's new in the world of Iron Fist? It's time we check out their Fall 13 collection, filled with their signature style and crazy-beautiful heels!

Iron Fist - Black Sheep Wedge Platform

Iron Fist - Black Sheep Wedge Platform

Growing up, most teenagers hate to be the black sheep but when it comes to shoes, there's nothing better than rocking a pair that no one else has. Iron Fist give tribute to the black sheep with a rockin' wedge/sandal, perfect in the lead up to Spring/Summer.

The main feature is definitely the six inch cork heel and two inch platform, printed with adorable little lambies in both black and white.

Iron Fist - Tigre N Bunny Cowboy Boot

Iron Fist - Tigre N Bunny Cowboy Boot

I'm not going to lie, in the entire spectrum of shoes, I'm generally not a huge fan of Cowboy Boots but there are a number of key features which jazz this pair up from Iron Fist and put it on my radar - Cowboy Boot and all!

Most notable would have to be the colour - I mean it's hard for a pink shoe not to be a winner in my book, and when it's that barbie platinum pink, I am instantly swooning.

Iron Fist - Creepy Rose Bootie

Iron Fist - Creepy Rose Bootie

Absolutely fell in love with this boot when I came across it, and although at first glance you probably wouldn't pick it to fall into the Sugar and Spice trend, it actually encapsulates the theme quite nicely.

The floral print is girly yet hidden in the pattern (in traditional Iron Fist style) are a few skulls, giving it a certain naughty and nice vibe.

Iron Fist - Love Me Now Lace Up Plat Pink

Iron Fist - Love Me Now Lace Up Plat Pink

One of my total favourites that hits the trend Circus Circus. This adorable wee bootie just screams fun, fabulous, and with the pink/red colour combination oh-so-perfect clash, just a touch of fierce for the person wearing these too!

The chunky heel and the lace up front add to the character.

Iron Fist - Lolita Love Platform White

Iron Fist - Lolita Love Platform White

A bit more girly from Iron Fist with this polka dot bootie and that gorgeous over-sized flower off the side, but they bring back a bit of edge with the leopard print finish around the platform and heel.

Another shoe that's definitely going to get some looks! Now what to wear it with...

Iron Fist - Bow Me Heels

Iron Fist - Bow Me Heels

A slightly out of the Iron Fist box girly number, this shoe is in one word...adorable! The little loveheart pattern detail is so cute, and then the oversized pink bows - total winner!

I would style this up with something that's going to be extra feminine - a little floaty skirt, or some cute shorts (show of those pins!), but in a soft fabric.

Iron Fist - Ruff Rider Platform Pewter

Iron Fist - Ruff Rider Platform Pewter

Iron Fist... always a winner, and this pewter skull number is no exception. I love the versatility of this; it would go fabulous with a pair of skinny jeans, is dainty enough for a skirt or rock it with a pair of black leather shorts.

Skulls, metallic, space age... suits so many trends!
