Iron Fist - Grin and Bear It Platform

Iron Fist - Grin and Bear It Platform

It's been so long since I featured a shoe on WritinginHeels, it's almost criminal! But here is one so cutesy wutesy that you won't be able to stay mad at me for long.

From the funky-loving brand Iron Fist, this is a fab flashback for those 90s kiddies whose childhood is filled with visions of cuddly pastel-coloured bears.

Iron Fist - Cycloburg Super Plat

Iron Fist - Cycloburg Super Plat

Okay... admittedly there's not too many out there who would rock this to after work drinks or a Saturday night out, but as any shoe fanatic will agree, there's something to be admired with this funky platform pump from Iron First.

While I'm not really a fast food fan, I can't help but find this burger design so entertaining!

2 Lips Too - Too Kicky

2 Lips Too - Too Kicky

I have constantly proclaimed my love of animal print and with this shoe, I shall do so once more. 2 Lips Too delivers a stunning booty/pump/sandal cross with fierce buckles, concealed platform and a 11.43 cm (4.5 inch) heel!

And if all that wasn't enough, the striking style is available in two equally fabulous prints; leopard and zebra!

Saint Laurent - Paris 105 Pump

Saint Laurent - Paris 105 Pump

It's been said time and time again here on Writing in Heels, but sometimes simplicity can be just as fabulous and this stiletto from Saint Laurent is the classic example.

The simple silhouette is classic yet executed to perfection, with just the right amount of booty in back - 10.8 cm/4.25 inches to be precise! And then there's the colour...

Michael Antonio - Karma

Michael Antonio - Karma

Keeping with the lace-up bootie trend, Michael Antonio joins the game with the Karma boot. Available in two striking shades, coral and metallic gold (and we all know metallics are very trendy right now), both are bold, daring and a wee bit different.

Featuring an open toe and lace-up vamp, it’s a total tran-sesasonal winner, and with a 15.3 cm (6 inch!) heel, prepare to up the style stakes.

Ellie Shoes – Una Pink Pump

Ellie Shoes – Una Pink Pump

If Pretty in Pink is totally your thing, then don't waste another second contemplating whether there's room in your wardrobe anymore shoes... there's always room!

This absolutely adorbs pink pump from Ellie Shoes is the ultimate Barbie party shoe – totally girly, pretty, and if you want it to be, just a teensy bit slutty when dolled up with a mini and some sparkle sparkle.

Sergio Rossi - Pointed Toe Pump

Sergio Rossi - Pointed Toe Pump

A simple stiletto but with a super sexy finish, this Sergio Rossi Pointed Toe Pump has got more sex appeal than Rihanna and Scarlett Johansson in a lingerie-clad pillow fight.

Featuring a shiny leather finish in a stunning shade of scarlett, and a pointy toe and sharp stiletto heel with enough sass Cruella de Ville would cower from intimidation.

Manolo Blahnik - Zullin Crystal-Draped dOrsay Pump

Manolo Blahnik - Zullin Crystal-Draped dOrsay Pump

There haven't been too many Manolos featured on WritinginHeels.com, maybe because I have a penchant for slightly higher heels, but I can sure appreciate shoe beauty in all shapes and sizes, I give you exhibit A.

This gorgeous stiletto from the famed fashion designer is the epitome of evening elegance; sultry metallic silver colouring, dripping jewels and chic silhouette.

Alice + Olivia - Stacey Face Pointy Pump Soft Pink

Alice + Olivia - Stacey Face Pointy Pump Soft Pink

Cute, quirky and oh so chic! These pumps and flats from Alice and Olivia are the epitome of fun meets fab for your feet with the super cool Stacey Face depiction on the toe. The sunnies and crystal red lips glam it up even further and the soft pink colour contrast with the black is sophisticated yet pretty.

While my preference is always going to be for the pump, these are an example of flats that can be equally fabulous; dress them up or down and flaunt them all over town!

Jessica Simpson - Sachaa Ombre

Jessica Simpson - Sachaa Ombre

The ombre trend has hit the hair industry pretty significantly over the last couple years, and it's forever been around in the world of fashion but this Jessica Simpson pump brings a taste of it to the wonderland of shoes too!

Available in two super chic colour palettes; powder nude, a gorgeous shade of soft tangerine, and monochromatic black/white, both with a perfect patent finish. A cutesy peep toe keeps the look suitably spring/summer.

Melissa - Incense Rubber Courts

Melissa - Incense Rubber Courts

There are some people out there that are all about the savoury, where the main course is the main event. But I must admit... I am a total dessert queen. That's right, I'm always hanging out for the sweet stuff, the pièce de résistance, and what's my choice? Well, I don't discriminate too much (although citrus is not my fave...), but I love, love, love... ice cream!

So when you combine one of my favourite things; ice cream, with one of my other favourite things; shoes... you are speaking my language!

Penny Sue - Morocco Black Fuchsia

Penny Sue - Morocco Black Fuchsia

Delivering a dose of funk and mashing together as many genres as my itunes playlist when I have a party! This shoe has it all... okay, maybe not all but it sure has a lot going on. Featuring a geometric print in a monochrome palette, this is offset by ribbons of hot pink patent and then to keep you guessing, a Velcro ankle cuff! It's a bit of pop art, a bit of futuristic space age, and bit of this and that in between.

Combine it all with a 16.5 cm (6.5 inch heel), and you're going places. Where? Well, the choices are endless!

DSquared - Ayers Leopard Printed Bow Pumps

DSquared - Ayers Leopard Printed Bow Pumps

Awww, aren't these just the cutest wee stiletto pumps you've ever seen! Okay, maybe not ever, but they are still Fabulous with a capital F. And while she might not still be gracing our screens on SATC, if she was, I am absolutely positive that Ms. Carrie Bradshaw would be seen strutting Manhattan in these.

Featuring a gorgeous textured patent leopard print finish, a touch of femininity is brought to the forefront with a strip of pink on the back of the heel and cutesy bow on the toe.

Zu - Alex Rainbow Print Peep Toe Heels

Zu - Alex Rainbow Print Peep Toe Heels

From Aussie label 'Zu', these rainbow pumps are the perfect summer treat for your feet! They remind me of one of those old school popsicles - I think they were called Rockets, or something like that, which have a myriad of colours swirling around enchantingly. And these are even more super with their sweet sorbet palette.

The shape is pretty stock-standard, channeling the traditional peep-toe pump, but did I mention there's a matching clutch!
