Iron Fist - Grin and Bear It Platform

It's been so long since I featured a shoe on WritinginHeels, it's almost criminal! But here is one so cutesy wutesy that you won't be able to stay mad at me for long.

From the funky-loving brand Iron Fist, this is a fab flashback for those 90s kiddies whose childhood is filled with visions of cuddly pastel-coloured bears.

ShoNews - Sophia Webster - Barbie Collection

When I get an email about a new collection from Sophia Webster, I am generally excited enough. So imagine how much my heartrate rose when the word Barbie was mentioned in the name!

I don't think it was at all unreasonable to expect some flashes of hot pink and candy colours, and thankfully enough, I was not disappointed. This latest collection is definitely good enough to eat.

Iron Fist - Cycloburg Super Plat

Okay... admittedly there's not too many out there who would rock this to after work drinks or a Saturday night out, but as any shoe fanatic will agree, there's something to be admired with this funky platform pump from Iron First.

While I'm not really a fast food fan, I can't help but find this burger design so entertaining!

Iron Fist – Misfits Oxford Flexi Flat

Every girl needs some good pairs of flats... I know, it sounds almost wrong, particularly coming from a blatant heel addict such as myself, but nonetheless my flat collection is admittedly growing as more fashionable choices become available. And this pair of Iron Fist oxfords is certainly wardrobe worthy, paying homage to The Misfits with the classic Misfit skull print, and wicked neon green lining. Punk rock perfection!

2 Lips Too - Too Kicky

I have constantly proclaimed my love of animal print and with this shoe, I shall do so once more. 2 Lips Too delivers a stunning booty/pump/sandal cross with fierce buckles, concealed platform and a 11.43 cm (4.5 inch) heel!

And if all that wasn't enough, the striking style is available in two equally fabulous prints; leopard and zebra!

I can't believe it's that time again... that's right, it feels like only yesterday we were looking at the Spring/Summer 2013 collection from Privileged by J.C Dossier, so how can we possibly be onto their Fall/Winter collection already! Well... if I have learnt anything throughout my journey of shoe discovery, it's don't question the unncessary!

Instead, we shall embrace the bold, bright and downright dazzling designs of the new Fall/Winter collection, in all their daring razzle.

ShoNews - Privileged by J.C Dossier - S/S13 Collection

I'm yet to own a pair of Privileged by J.C Dossier shoes, but I must admit that this shoe brand is right on the mark with my taste in heels and the Spring/Summer 2013 collection is no different.

Featuring a range of styles, prints and eccentric design elements, the collection is fashion fierce and fashion forward, but what makes it even better is the fact that most of the styles are available in a selection of colours! So you won't be hitting that annoying situation of... "I love it, but I wish they had it in pink...". Find the Privileged shoe for you!

ShoNews - TaylorSays - Legs For Days Collection

TaylorSays was a brand of shoes that were like that feeling when you scan a crowded room and your eyes lock together with someone... it was an instant connection and it's a love affair that certainly isn't fading with the release of her new collection Legs for Days.

Just one glance at the heels in this fabulous collection is enough to recognise the signature style traits of the Southern Californian designer, Taylor Reeve - bright colours, bold designs and fearless height!

N.Y.L.A - Humilia USA

Considering the Fourth of July has just passed, it seemed only appropriate to give a little nod to the renowned Independence Day in the best way I know how... with a shoe! This bootie is from a brand - N.Y.L.A - I have only newly discovered but I am liking what I see.

The body of the shoe is fabric and looks an almost military canvas finish to it which is perfectly complementary to the stars and stripe patterning and the lace-up detailing at the front.

Truth or Dare by Madonna - Kleinfelder

This is the first shoe I've seen of Madonna's label, Truth or Dare, and there was enough design elements there that had me shoe-aroused enough to feature it on WritinginHeels.com. When posting this one up I was trying to decide what category to classify this shoe as, as it sort of sits somewhere between a pump, sandal and bootie, and herein lies a definite positive attribute!

Alongside is a cute combination of yellow and polka-dots - who would've thought!?

Charlotte Olympia - Hollywood

From famed shoe designer Charlotte Olympia, this sandal/wedge combo is straight out of her Pre Fall 13 collection and appropriately dubbed the 'Hollywood'. Featuring an impressive wedge platform of six inches and two inches respectively, the design pays homage to the Hollywood sign with 'Holly' and 'Wood' emblazoned on either side of each wedge.

Quality is always of the essence with shoes from Olympia and this wedge is no different - the design made from suede and kidskin.

Sophia Webster - Mollie Polka-Dot Beaded-Heel Sandals

If you're into a more eclectic shoe, then this heel from Sophia Webster is a perfect choice. A playful and fun design aesthetic will ensure you avoid any sort of background blending, including a T-Bar strap style in a patent leather and polka-dot dyed pony hair!

Yes, it's the detail that has gone into this heel that really steps it up. The heel is constructed from round beads providing four half inches of height.

TaylorSays - Talia Explosion

Check out the latest from Taylor Says with this pump straight out of her Legs For Days Fall 2013 collection. The pump, dubbed the Talia Explosion, gives a nod to the Pop Art trend and would fit in perfectly with Trend Spotting - Pop Tart.

Featuring a pop art explosion on the heel, the design is further complemented with the classic polka dot comic book look over the rest of the body of the shoe.

Casadei - Jungle Pop

The name is almost as alluring as the shoe with this 'Jungle Pop' heel from Casadei. This gorgeous stiletto has an absolutely amazing silhouette, with a heel that is lacquered and real steel!

The jungle animal print is in fabulous and fun shades of orange and fuschia pink with black animal spots, and just to class it up further, the heel also has embroidered Swarovski crystals!
